Attention Teachers!!
Scholarships Available for
National Board Certification® for
State Farm®, as a partner in the America’s Promise Alliance, seeks to promote a quality education for all children through
its support of NBPTS scholarships. State Farm Companies Foundation provides scholarships for first-time candidates
pursuing National Board Certification in selected public school districts in the following 19 metropolitan areas:
Albuquerque Detroit Los Angeles Phoenix
Atlanta Houston Louisville, KY San Francisco
Austin Indianapolis Nashville San Antonio
Chicago Jackson, MS Oakland, CA Washington, D.C.
Dallas Las Vegas Philadelphia

National Board Certification is a 10-part advanced certificate for experienced teachers. Teachers have up to three years to
achieve National Board Certification.
Easy to Apply!
To apply for a scholarship from State Farm, interested first-time candidates must apply online at:
www.nbpts.org/become_a_candidate/fees_financial_support/scholarships.
Scholarships will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have questions about a scholarship from State Farm,
contact NBPTS at scholarship_manager@nbpts.org or at 1-888-908-3337 for more information regarding the scholarship
process. More information on NBPTS programs is available at: www.nbpts.org.
