Grants List from Edutopia

GRANTS & RESOURCES
The George Lucas Educational Foundation is a nonprofit operating foundation and is not a grant-making organization. However, in order to realize the potential of 21st-century education, we are fully aware that our community needs to secure grants and be aware of other exciting opportunities in education, such as the following:
  • The George Lucas Educational Foundation Grant Information List
  • Toshiba America Foundation: Applications accepted year-round, but amounts over $5,000 are reviewed only twice a year; next deadline is August 1, 2011. Grants to grade 6-12 teachers for instructional equipment that will help make science and mathematics more exciting.
  • Corning Incorporated Foundation: Applications accepted year-round. The foundation funds grants totaling about $3 million in areas where the company has a strong corporate presence, with a focus on education, culture, and community service.
  • ISTE 2011: Philadelphia, June 26-29, 2011. Join nearly 20,000 education and technology professionals for the International Society for Technology in Education's annual conference and expo.
